Field Training is a rigorous and intensive program designed to evaluate your leadership potential and prepare you for service as an Air or Space Force officer. This challenging experience takes place at Maxwell Air Force Base, AL, typically during the summer before your junior year in college. Completion of Field Training is required before entering the Professional Officer Course (POC).

Throughout Field Training, you will be evaluated in leadership scenarios, testing your ability to think critically, make decisions under stress, and work as part of a team.
