Samford Community Rallies Together to Exceed Annual Giving Day Goals
On April 9, Samford University celebrated Samford Giving Day 2024. After almost a decade of being known as The Big Give, University Advancement refreshed the campaign in 2023 to feature a more consistent, simplified message. Samford Giving Day is now a 24-hour event for collective support of areas all over campus.

Samford University is blessed to have supportive and involved alumni like Sandy ’81 and Steve ’81 Eubanks. After already having one endowed scholarship in honor of Sandy Eubanks’ father, they decided to endow one this year in honor of Steve Eubanks’ parents, Barbara ’70 and William ’70 Eubanks.

Scott Smith ’91 was drawn to Samford University’s sense of faith and community, specifically through football. Smith comes from a family full of Samford graduates, and because of his experience, Smith is dedicated to giving back to current and future bulldogs.
