Meet Our Interns
Anya Bornemann
My name is Anya Bornemann, I graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Bachelor of Science in psychology and am currently working towards my master's in social work at Samford University. I am a Megan Montgomery intern in the Title IX office and a One Love facilitator. My role is education and prevention of sexual discrimination and Misconduct at Samford. I work towards bringing awareness to relationship violence and what a healthy relationship looks like by facilitating classes and workshops.
Dionna Davis
My name is Dionna Davis; I am from Clarksville, TN, pursuing my Doctorate of Pharmacy and a joint degree of a Master of Science in Nutrition. I have previously served as the Chief Justice of SGA for the year 2022-2023, and from that role, I enjoyed working with the Conduct Office and wanted to continue in that capacity. Working as a Title IX Intern has provided me the opportunity to educate, advocate, and communicate with the student body and employees alike on their protective rights against discrimination they may face.
Shavondria Holifield
Shavondria Holifield, a passionate advocate for education and equality, holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and is currently pursuing an MBA with a concentration in data analytics. Hailing from Marion, Alabama, Shavondria has found her niche in the Title IX office, where she thrives on the opportunity to creatively educate students about their rights and responsibilities. With a commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive campus environment, Shavondria is dedicated to empowering and supporting the student community.
