All Christians are called to lives of meaning and purpose, but what is the relationship between our life as a worshiper on the Lord’s day, and our daily life as a Christian disciple? Teenagers and emerging adults in particular find themselves in a season of searching for identity and intentionality in life and need to see explicit connections between worship and daily life. Explore the biblical connections between labor and liturgy during a unique workshop on the campus of Samford University October 24th – 26th, co-sponsored by the Center for Congregational Resources and the Center for Worship and the Arts.

Special guest Dr. Cory Willson, co-author of Work and Worship, will explore ways Christian leaders can help people better connect their work and worship. Musical artists Urban Doxology will challenge participants to find new, creative expressions of faithful biblical calling. Additional presenters and influencers include Emily Andrews, Bill Blackerby, Zac Hicks, J.D. Payne, and Michael Wilson.

This interactive workshop will provide time, space, and professional coaching for either songwriting or the creation of other liturgical resources, such as prayers, sermons, and additional ministry resources. Songwriting Track participants will have the opportunity to record their new music in a local studio at the end of the workshop at no additional cost.
