While still attending Lake Wales High School, Kate was a member of both the school’s IB program, and Veterinary Assisting Career Academy, and graduated third in her class. She participated in many organizations around campus, including FFA, the Class of 2024’s Executive Board, where she served as Vice President, and NHS. Off campus Kate participated in many volunteer opportunities, such as promoting literacy with her local library, and club activities such as 4H. While at Samford Kate hopes to be involved with many different campus organizations, and further her understanding of the world through a classical lens.
