Prior to attending Samford, Haylee Davis graduated from Southwest Christian School, in Fort Worth, Texas. While there, she served as the Student Council Treasurer, Student Council Vice President, National Honor Society Secretary, as well as Chaplain. Haylee was a student ambassador. She traveled the world spreading God’s word and love to all that she encountered. She was also the captain of the Women’s Basketball Team and Women’s Cross Country Team; she led them to victory with back-to-back State Championships!
Haylee is a member of the First United Methodist Church, where she volunteered at Vacation Bible School, Lord’s Acre, and Church Outside the Walls. She was a member of the Conference Council on Youth Ministries where she helped further the Methodist youth involvement in Texas. Haylee enjoys traveling, going overseas for mission trips, gardening, and fiddling. Some of her favorite memories from high school are the mission trips to South Africa, Brazil, and Ethiopia. Haylee loves learning about the various subjects in school. However, she also loves learning all she can about new places, cultures, and people. Her goal is to finish her undergraduate studies in Exercise Science, followed by Physical Therapy school. Upon completion, she hopes to use physical therapy as a means for missionary work by providing physical therapy to those that would otherwise have no resources to obtain physical therapy and to spread the Word of God to others.
