Congratulations! You have been chosen to attend Alabama Governor’s School. This year’s Alabama Governor’s School will be held June 15-27, 2025. During this time, you will have the opportunity to truly experience college life and take away memories that will last forever. This program is designed to give you the best two weeks possible. The seminars offered are both challenging and fun, the lessons you learn will benefit you for life, and the friendships you make will last long after you leave the program.
Calendar
The AGS 2025 Calendar is currently being finalized. The program will take place June 15-27. View the 2024 schedule to become familiar with the basic outline of the daily schedule. The 2025 will vary slightly and will be posted as soon as details are confirmed.
Acceptance Checklist
With your acceptance, you will receive an email with links to the following forms:

Parents
Congratulations! Your child has been selected to attend this year’s session of the Alabama Governor’s School. This is a wonderful opportunity for your rising junior or senior to experience college life. Your student will live on campus, sleep in residence halls, and eat in the university cafeteria. Students from previous year’s programs have loved their time here and we are confident that your student will as well. Information you need to complete your student’s acceptance can be found on this website. We welcome you to attend the opening and closing ceremonies with your student.
