About the Program
AGS is a 13-day residential program housed at Samford University that provides academic, creative, and leadership experiences for gifted rising high school juniors and seniors in Alabama.

Alabama Governor's School is a highly selective program that chooses the best students from around the state to take challenging seminars and participate in team building activities.
Current Seminars
Students take one morning and one afternoon seminar focused on experiential learning. Seminars are led by leading academic, business, and community experts in their fields.
