During the COVID-19 pandemic, Carrie Kreps ‘02, consultant pharmacist for Senior Care Pharmacy received publicity and accolades for her leadership in the Pharmacy Partnership for Long-Term Care Program, a federal effort providing COVID-19 vaccines to people living and working in long-term care facilities. Through the program, Dr. Kreps helped organize and administer approximately 80,000 vaccinations to over 70 nursing home facilities in Alabama. Additionally, she has been a dedicated preceptor and mentor of McWhorter School of Pharmacy students for many years. We are honored to feature her and her amazing dedication to her patients, our students and the pharmacy profession.
