Valerie Prince joined the Samford University McWhorter School of Pharmacy family in 1994 as a newly trained clinician and eager teacher. She has practiced in acute care and ambulatory settings during her 30-year tenure and always enjoys bringing that experience into the classroom. Prince’s favorite parts of working at Samford are the Christian atmosphere and the relationships she has developed with students, faculty, and staff. She has served in many elected and appointed positions in national and state professional organizations, most recently as president of the American Pharmacists Association.
