Samford University led the Southern Conference, placing 67 student-athletes on the league’s Spring Academic All-Conference team.
Among Samford’s spring sports, women’s outdoor track and field placed 14 members on the team, while women’s indoor track and field had 11 representatives on the squad. Softball had seven players on the squad, while baseball had six. Women’s basketball and women’s golf had five representatives each on the team.
Samford’s 67 student-athletes on the team posted a grade point average of 3.65.
