The Moffett Nurse Network will host a reception for graduate students and alumni of Samford University’s Ida V. Moffett School of Nursing on Thursday, Oct. 20, in Biloxi, Miss.

The event, held in conjunction with the Mississippi Nurses Association Centennial Convention, will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Hard Rock Hotel.

The Moffett Nurse Network is an initiative to connect nursing school alumni and graduate students with their alma mater and fellow Moffett Nurses.  Recent events have been held in Chattanooga, Tenn., Nashville, Tenn., Destin Fla., Carrollton, Ga., and Birmingham, Ala. More than 30 alumni and graduate students enjoyed the most recent reception, held in Dallas, Texas, in September. An event in Houston, Texas, is scheduled for February, 2012.
