Step Sing 2025 celebrates 75 years of this beloved tradition! Step Sing performances will be held this year on January 30 - February 1, 2025 at the Samford University Wright Center. We hope you will make plans to join us!

For those who are unable to make it to the live show, all evening performances will be live streamed at samford.edu/live! You can follow along with the live show through the official Step Sing program.

Step Sing began as a sing-along on the steps of Renfroe Hall at the Howard College East Lake Campus in 1951. It was held once a semester and soon became a competition. In 1957, Howard College moved to its present location on Lakeshore Drive, bringing with it the tradition of Step Sing. In 1976, Step Sing moved to its current home in the Samford University Wright Center. - Children age 3 and up require a ticket (under three can sit in parent's lap) - Late arrivals will be seated after the first performance.
