Kelsea joined the University Library in 2024. She is responsible for the creation and maintenance of bibliographic and holdings metadata for the library’s electronic resources and print serials. Before coming to Samford, Kelsea worked as the Electronic Resource and Discovery Librarian at Birmingham-Southern College and served as a Curatorial Fellow at the Birmingham Museum of Art. Her research interests include data ethics, linked data approaches to name authority control, and critical cataloging practices.
