Tampa Bay Lightning Marketing Vice President to Visit Samford

Eric Blankenship, vice president of marketing for the Tampa Bay Lightning hockey team, will speak at Samford University Tuesday, Nov. 7, at 1:45 p.m. in the Regions Resource Room, Cooney Hall. The event is sponsored by Samford’s Center for Sports Analytics and is open to the public.

Blankenship is in his fourth year in this role, but he has more than 17 years of experience in the sports and entertainment industry.

The Tampa Bay Lightning are a National Hockey League team based in the Tampa, Florida, area. In 2016, the Lightning were voted the best organization in professional sports.
