Megan Kaal received her undergraduate education here at Samford University. She traveled to Dallas to complete her dietetic internship at the Baylor University Medical Center. She returned to Birmingham where she worked for ten years at UAB Hospital as a clinical dietitian.Kaal gained significant experience in working with the geriatric population as well as in the outpatient setting of Cardiopulmonary Rehab and the radiation oncology clinic. Her role at Samford allows her to combine her love for learning with her clinical experience. In her free time Megan enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling. She and her husband JP, who is an accountant and also a Samford graduate, have a 2-year-old daughter Caroline and an energetic standard poodle, Zoe.
