Elizabeth Edge joined the Moffett & Sanders School of Nursing as an assistant professor in January 2025. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama in 2013 and spent seven years as an emergency/trauma bedside nurse before transitioning into academia. In 2024, she completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, specializing as an adult/gerontology acute care nurse practitioner with a subspecialty in registered nurse first assist.
Dr. Edge is passionate about shaping the next generation of nurses and guiding them to become compassionate, competent, and thoughtful professionals. Outside of her academic and clinical work, she enjoys traveling with her husband, reading, and spending time with her family.
