On March 31, William G. Ross, the Albert P. Brewer professor of law and ethics, delivered the keynote address at The Institute for Justice's conference in Washington, D.C.
The conference celebrated the centennial of the U.S. Supreme Court's decision in Meyer v. Nebraska (1923), about which Ross has published a book, Forging New Freedoms: Nativism, Education, and the Constitution, 1917-1927 (University of Nebraska Press, 1994).
