Bethany is a 2011 magna cum laude graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Her career began in labor and delivery and later expanded to perioperative services and breast health. After leaving the bedside, she transitioned into healthcare simulation, where she enjoyed serving future healthcare professionals.

She and her husband, Matt, have seven children: Addison, Colton, Weston, Kaiden, Asher, Anderson, and Silas. Bethany also has a big heart for animals and is the owner of three dogs, three cats, and a bearded dragon.
