Bennett Wagley is a sophomore finance and economics student from Franklin, Tennessee, and is a member of the Brock Scholars program. He is also involved in the University Fellows program and serves as a Samford Ambassador.

Why were you interested in joining Brock Scholars?

I was interested in Brock Scholars as a way to extend my business education to a deeper level, engage more closely with professors and form a practical understanding of scholarly topics. Through the Brock Scholars program, I will be able to take my classroom learning into the business world with confidence and experience.

What areas are you excited to grow in as a Brock Scholar?

I am already looking forward to my Oxbridge tutorial, as I know I will enjoy the opportunity to sit with a professor, learn from each other and dive deep into scholarly discussion. In my view, the most important part of this program is the people. I am thankful for my amazing peers!
