Melissa Brackin is the administrative assistant for the Department of Entrepreneurship, Management and Marketing in Samford University's Brock School of Business. 

She came to Samford after serving six years as an accountant for the United Way of Central Alabama. Prior to this, Brackin spent seven years settling investment trades for Regions Bank.

A Dothan, Alabama, native, Brackin earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The University of Alabama. She is a member of the business honor fraternity Beta Gamma Sigma.

She loves spending time with friends and family. She also attends Green Valley Church.
