Beeson Divinity School is an evangelical, interdenominational divinity school on Samford’s campus in Birmingham, Alabama.
Our mission is to prepare God-called persons to serve as ministers in the church of Jesus Christ. We accomplish our mission by providing face-to-face, classical graduate theological education, worshiping the Triune God and encouraging the practices of Christian spirituality in covenanted community.
Our Distinctives
A commitment to incarnational learning for incarnational ministry
A world-class faculty committed to excellence in teaching, scholarship and mentoring of students
An interdenominational spirit that encourages student growth in charity and conviction
“I chose Beeson because of its interdenominational identity and its community emphasis.
“The faculty-led mentor groups and community chapel are only two of the myriad ways the Beeson community shapes me for the better. The diverse array of classes challenges me to learn from Scripture and bring it into my life in deeper, more purposeful ways. I am enriched and sharpened through discussions with faculty and classmates in class and out.”
