Our Programs
Welcome to the Orlean Bullard Beeson School of Education and Professional Studies (OBBSEPS). The school combines essential theoretical foundations with practical application in an atmosphere of nurturing of the whole student. Faculty members take personal interest in the growth and development of each student's progress in her or his chosen field.
Family Studies
The family studies major prepares you for a wide range of careers enriching families and provides and excellent foundation for graduate study in family studies, family therapy, law, social work, child development education, human services management and related fields.
Graduate Studies
OBBSEPS graduate programs prepare the practitioner for more advanced work in the field.
Kinesiology and Nutrition Science
This department consists of seven different majors with the goal of enhancing and enriching the lives of others through exercise, nutrition, and wellness.
Teacher Education
The Department of Teacher Education offers three distinct majors—ESEC (early childhood/early childhood special education/elementary/elementary collaborative), English, and history—all leading to a bachelor of science in education.
