Prior to coming to Samford, Annalisa attended Covenant Day School in Matthews, NC. She served as captain of the Varsity Soccer and Varsity Field Hockey teams, as well as a member of the Varsity Cheerleading team. She was a school-wide chaplain, Secretary and Treasurer of Beta Club, Secretary and Treasurer of Spanish National Honor Society, and a member of National Honor Society. She served as part of the Covenant Crazies, Contain-It Club, and the Pro-Life Club. She led worship as a pianist in her church’s worship band. She achieved A Honor Roll all four years of her high school career, as well as winning the AP Language Award, several Spanish awards, and the athletic Christian Character Award. At Samford, Annalisa is currently undeclared and excited to discover what the Lord has planned for her.
