Prior to coming to Samford, Joey was the captain of the St. Pius X debate team while being ranked the number 1 Lincoln-Douglas debater in Georgia for 2 years. He was also a National Honor Society member and an AP Scholar with Distinction. While attending Samford, Joey is studying Computer Science and Political Science. After graduation, Joey hopes to earn his Master’s degree in Computer Science and go into either commercial software development or cybersecurity.
