During her time at LAMP High School, Anna was involved in several honor societies, including National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, National English Honor Society, National French Honor Society, National Latin Honor Society, National Science Honor Society, and National History Honor Society; she was also an AP scholar and graduated Top Ten in her class. Anna held a leadership position in her school's Fellowship of Christian Students and served as the president of her church's choir. While in high school, she ran track and cross country, and was the vice captain of the girls' track team during her senior year. Anna studies history, classics, and French at Samford, and after graduating she plans to pursue a Master's of Education. She was involved in Samford's Study Abroad program and spent a semester studying at the Daniel House in London where she was an educational intern at the Westminster City Archives Center. She would love to remain in the Birmingham area post-graduation and teach history or Latin in a local high school.
