IT Security serves a management and coordination role working with constituents and departments of the University to attain acceptable security operation and practice. Responsibilities include policy, communications, education, practice development, project development, and audit. The area actively participates in various IT security organizations, stays abreast of developments, assesses products and services to aid the University in improving and managing IT security operations, and is actively involved in dealing with significant security issues that may occur.
