Samford University

Our Story

Zac Epperson, a senior math major, presented a paper this month at a meeting of the Southeastern Section of the Mathematical Association of America.  According to Dr. David Foreman of our Department of Math and Computer Science, Zac's paper, entitled Analytic Continuation of Factorial-Like Products, was selected from all of the 33 student presentations as a winner of the prestigious Patterson Award.  Zac's mentor for the project was Dr. Bruce Atkinson.  (The word on the street is that Zac's presentation was "rock star quality.")

The world is better because of Zac Epperson and Bruce Atkinson.
