Bryan Chapell, president, Covenant Theological Seminary, St. Louis, Mo., will present the William E. Conger, Jr., Lectures on Biblical Preaching at Samford University Feb. 26-28. The public is invited free of charge.

Chapell will speak at 11 a.m. each day in Beeson Divinity Chapel. "The Heart of Christian Preaching" is the theme for the lectures.

The annual lectureship is sponsored by Samford's Beeson Divinity School.

Chapell was named president of Covenant Seminary, the national seminary of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), in 1994. He previously served the school as a vice president, dean and professor of homiletics.
