Samford University's Legacy League will present its popular Christmas Home Tour Thursday, Dec. 12.
Now in its third year, the event will feature five homes in Vestavia Hills and Mountain Brook. Proceeds will help provide life-changing scholarships for deserving Samford students with financial need.
Featured homes are those of: Phyllis and Roye Tinsley, 2800 Overhill Road; Redonda and Lowell Broom, 2604 Vesclub Circle; Janet and Jarry Taylor, 237 Monterey Place; Danielle and Bart Yancey, 2312 Shades Crest Road; and Jeanna and Andy Westmoreland, 1994 Shades Crest Road.
The final home is the residence of Legacy League executive director Jeanna Westmoreland and Samford president Andy Westmoreland. Holiday hors d'oeuvres prepared by Legacy League members will be served at that stop.
Each home presents distinctive elements that reflect the interests of its owners and celebrate the Christmas season. Guests will be able to drive to each home.
Homes will be open from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and 4-8 p.m. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door. For information or to purchase tickets online (through December 10), go to www.samford.edu/legacyleague. Information is also available at (205) 726-2247.
