Palimpsest Newsletter

The word "palimpsest" carries special meaning for Fellows. The dictionary defines palimpsest as "a manuscript, typically of papyrus or parchment that has been written on more than once, with the earlier writing incompletely erased and often legible" or "something having unusually diverse layers or aspects apparent beneath the surface." For Fellows, this term describes the core texts, which form a palimpsest of ideas as each author builds upon previous works.
