Important Dates

Below are upcoming event dates that may be difficult times to schedule on campus events or meetings. Participation from faculty, staff and students may also be limited during these dates.

  1. Enter Event and Space Request in 25Live

    25Live is Samford's event management and space utilization software. If your event will be held on campus there must be a space request in 25Live. For non Samford students, faculty and staff, please email your request to

    Helpful hints:

    1) Please use Firefox 3.0 (or higher) or Google Chrome browsers to access 25Live.
    2) Access 25Live using your Samford email ID and password.

  2. Reserve Additional Event Resources

    The following event resource providers will help ensure the success of your event.  Be sure to contact them well in advance to discuss your event and reserve their services.  If you don't contact them, chances are they won't know about your event!

  3. Advertise Your Event

    Once you've confirmed the resources for your event, don't forget to promote it!

    Here are some ideas:

    - Request marketing services to publicize your event on signage, websites, WVSU, the marketing calendar, via mail. etc

    - Send an email to the campus using the appropriate mailing list

    The Office of Marketing and Communications can help you with these tasks.  Email to get started (you must have student or employee email address).

    If your event is on campus, please include your 25live event reference number obtained from step 1 above in the email along with the description of your event, speaker bio, etc.
