About Kinesiology and Nutrition Science

Welcome to the Kinesiology and Nutrition Science Department at Samford University! Our department consists of seven different majors whose focus is to enhance and enrich the lives of others through exercise, nutrition, and wellness. We have a dedicated faculty and staff to assist and challenge you in your academic pursuits. Some highlights of our department include: our classes are small, our faculty and staff take an interest in you as a person, you'll receive a significant amount of practical experience, be involved in research with our professors, present at professional conferences, and possibly be published in a professional journal prior to graduation. In addition, the graduate and professional school acceptance rate for our graduates is regularly above 90%. You will receive the finest education anywhere in the country, and you will be taught by committed Christians who are concerned for your spiritual well-being.
