Samford’s Big Give is a 36-hour fundraising event, also known as crowd-funding, that is powered by email, social media and online giving. It provides alumni, parents, friends and employees of the university an opportunity to make a gift to their favorite Samford school, program or scholarship.
This year, Samford’s Big Give features 13 projects from multiple areas of campus, including academics and athletics. Each project has a local or global community impact beyond the gates of campus. New this year are projects for Daniel House, Facilities Management, Office of Spiritual Life, and Student Affairs and Enrollment Management.
The third annual Big Give begins at 9 a.m. on Friday, May 29, and concludes at 9 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2015.
From improving facilities on campus and abroad to impacting international medical missions and empowering students through once-in-a-lifetime opportunities, participating in the 2015 Big Give is an easy, fun, exciting way to positively impact our local and global communities, creating a better Samford and a better world.
